Steven Universe didn’t “pave the way” for bubbline oh my god… you guys do understand that rupphire and shit NEVER would have happened if it wasn’t for bubbline. It didn’t need to be canon to make an impact, it was enough for the show to open a discussion about healthy LGBT relationships in children’s television. Bubbline did that, all the way back during the “What Was Missing” controversy. Learn your cartoon dyke history kids!!
