people on here think every attractive-if-you’ve-been-drinking fictional male villain with long hair is queer coded and i’m just like, none of these people know what coding means or what it looks like and probably none of them know what someone trying to be noticeably gay irl looks like either
kylo ren isn’t queer coded severus snape isn’t queer coded people are mixing up wishful thinking with intentional character writing and i can’t tell if it’s on purpose or not
i mean i guess you could take this to mean “every and any creepy fictional character is meant to be read as lgbt because i think lgbt people have a creepy quality to them” which is, a definite possibility but maybe a cynical read. it’s probably just wishful thinking and a lack of media literacy.
