i feel like i should rewatch the last two books of korra now that it’s been like two years and i can judge the characters based on their development without my opinions being influenced by the atrocious writing of the first two books. because my biggest problem with the series is that by the end of book two, i hated korra so much that when she actually got a nice character arc i was past the point of caring. i want to be able to value her as a protagonist despite the fact that her writing was handled really poorly at the beginning of the series. maybe then i’ll also be able to appreciate her relationship with asami more.
