why don’t you like wano?

  1. Not enough Carrot.
  2. Momonosuke is one of my least favorite characters and Kin’emon isn’t anything to write home about either.
  3. We are not faring well in the female character department so far. Tama is pretty much boring, Kiku had… potential, in the beginning (her character design is also boring though) but has not lived up to any of my expectations. Okay honestly, I’m so fucking tired of Oda introducing “strong female characters” and then just NOT. LETTING THEM FIGHT. I’m fucking done with it, I don’t give a shit if Kiku “dishonored” that guy by cutting off his top-knot or cut down a few background characters, it’s not enough and I can and will throw a fit about it. The only character I really like is Tsuru because her design is nice, but she’s done literally nothing thus far so…
  4. The setting is pretty much just feudal Japan, which is fine, but I’ve come to expect more from One Piece especially after Whole Cake Island.
  5. In general the writing seems kind of all over the place. I’m not even going to touch on the time travel thing.

ichigo-ichie:

At 27 years old, Shinri Tezuka may be one of the youngest people still practicing the dwindling art of amezaiku, or candy crafting, in Japan. The self-taught Japanese artist carves, sculpts and paints delicate lollipops into intricate edible sculptures. Amezaiku dates back hundreds of years, but today there are only two artists left in Tokyo. Tezuka hopes his elaborate goldfish, frog and octopus designs will inspire the next generation of candy crafters to keep the tradition alive.

look i 1000% agree that lesbians need their own flag buuuuut…. do we really want the lipstick lesbian flag with zero meaning that was designed by a racist to be embraced by corporations and associated inextricably with our community? can we maybe…. find a better flag to agree on before protesting people for not using it? like i just think we need to address that the fundamental problem here is not that we have a meaningful flag and people are refusing to use it, it’s that we don’t have a fucking meaningful flag in the first place.
